Michael J. Tobin is a Director with Pacific Union Commercial Brokerage (PUCB) and specializes in the sale, lease, and development of office buildings and other commercial properties in San Francisco. His practice has special emphasis on working with professional service firms, corporate entities, and media/radio groups. Pacific Union Company and its parent company, GMAC, named him The Commercial Agent of the Year for 2004; the second time he has won this prestigious award.

Pacific Union Real Estate Group, Ltd., parent company of PUCB, is a 30 year old San Francisco firm. It was acquired by GMAC Financial Services in February 2000, and is California's third largest real estate company, with 700 sales associates and staff in 20 Bay Area offices . Its annual closed transactions total more than $4.3 billion. In addition to its brokerage business, Pacific Union has developed numerous commercial, recreational and resident projects, to include the Meadowood Resort in the Napa Valley, the 1,200 unit Watergate condominium complex in Emeryville, the Opera Plaza mixed use project in San Francisco and Rancho San Carlos, a 20,000 acre residential community in the Carmel Valley.

Tobin is a fourth generation San Franciscan and a graduate of Gonzaga University (BBA) and the University of Southern California (MBA). He currently serves on the Board of Regents of Gonzaga University and the Junior Membership Committee of the Olympic Club.
